Tess and Adam’s wedding day was absolutely perfect. The ladies started off the day with mimosas and Lizzo. Tess seemed nervous, but so excited to get ready to see her man! When they pulled out her wedding dress, the room got quiet. The tears started as soon as her mom zipped her up and she turned around. I could see the love in all her family and friend’s faces. They couldn’t wait to see her become a married woman.

I could see the nervousness in both of their faces as they got ready for the first look. Adam’s hands were shaking a little as he waited for Tess to come out the door. The moment they saw each other, the nervousness was gone and they were both so excited. Their love is absolutely beautiful. They spent a moment reading each other their vows. Both started crying as the other read them their vows. It was a moment I am so happy I was able to experience. After that, they face-timed Adam’s mom. Her health didn’t allow her to come to the wedding, but they made sure to show each other off to his mom so she felt like she was.

Even though they had done the first look already, Adam still was so emotional as he saw Tess walk down the aisle. The ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect for these two. After the ceremony, we were able to get some beautiful sunset portraits!

The reception was held at Traine, a stunning venue in downtown Raleigh. I left there with blisters on my feet from dancing all night long! YES, wedding photographers like to dance too. Tess and Adam’s music did not disappoint. Oh, and the ice cream bar was a huge hit!
