Romantic destination wedding in Jamaica at Sandals South Coast!

Everyone’s dream wedding is a little bit different. Some people dream about getting married in their hometown church, while others picture getting married on a mountaintop. Some of my couples dream about a classic black-tie evening, and some plan the CUTEST and most perfect boho woodsy elopement. 

And then there’s Kristin & TJ, whose dream wedding took them to JAMAICA!!! I was thrilled when Kristin & TJ asked me to come with them to photograph their Jamaica Sandals Wedding at Sandals South Coast in Whitehouse, Jamaica. As they told me about their family and friends, I knew this would be a group that loved a great party and a great trip – my kind of people!

Kristin & TJ’s Sandals South Coast wedding was on April’s Fool Day, and that mischievous playful spirit was in full display on their wedding day – they even jumped into the pool in their wedding attire at the end of the night!

One of the most awesome reasons to have a Sandals South Coast wedding is that the essentials are FREE. That’s right – f-r-e-e. The resort includes their basic wedding package – ceremony venue, bouquet, boutonniere, and a cake – if you purchase a 3 night minimum stay (and honestly, who would want to stay for fewer than 3 nights? Look how GORGEOUS it is!). If you’re thinking about maybe having a destination wedding in the Caribbean, this makes a Jamaica Sandals wedding a super attractive option. 

Kristin & TJ invited me to come along for the trip a few days before the wedding so that I could capture some lifestyle portraits of them and their guests enjoying themselves at Sandals South Coast before the big day, and I’m so glad they did! I even brought my husband Trey, and we all had an awesome time hanging out on the boat. The photos of their guests jumping off the boat into the water crack me up! This is one of the best reasons to bring your wedding photographer with you to your destination wedding, so that I can capture all the moments of your day, whether it’s a Jamaica Sandals wedding or a different awesome destination.
